Mr. Pilot handles legal and regulatory matters for CPC of America, Inc. He has more than 30 years of experience handling legal issues surrounding the development, investigation, manufacture, and distribution of medical products, in particular, medical devices. He counsels both U.S. and international clients on every aspect of product and device development and approval. As former Special Assistant to the FDA Commissioner and Associate Director for Compliance at the Bureau of Medical Devices, Mr. Pilot was responsible for the development of FDA’s medical device regulatory program. He also served as the staff attorney for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) and is the founder of the Medical Device Manufacturers Association. He is also a registered pharmacist.
