An Overview

 

CPC of America, Inc. (CPC) aims to design, develop and commercialize innovative medical devices that deliver improved therapeutic options for vascular closure and enhance the quality of patient care in endovascular procedures.

 

Our current efforts are focused on developing MedClose™, an investigational-stage* vascular closure system (VCS) that is intended to rapidly seal the femoral arterial puncture site following diagnostic or interventional catheterization procedures.

Unique System Design

The MedClose™ VCS precisely delivers any approved sealant in less than a minute. Its unique dual-balloon design is expected to reduce the time required for device deployment and sealant delivery.

 

Leaves No Trace

The MedClose™ VCS is designed for use with any approved sealant. There are no sutures and no permanent implants.

Rapid Patient Recovery

The MedClose™ VCS is expected to reduce time to hemostasis and minimize the need for manual compression, resulting in less time spent by post-procedural professionals, faster patient ambulation and earlier patient discharge.
